Job summary

Acuren in Duluth, MN is seeking a skilled NDT Specialist to perform AUT, PAUT and Guided Wave inspections on client sites. This on-site role focuses on detecting defects, applying testing criteria and delivering clear inspection results.

You will establish examination techniques, review documentation and prepare project reports while following ASME and API standards. Travel may be required; prior NDT certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical background in NDT methods (UT/UTPA/PAUT/CR/DR, etc.) and procedures with five years experience.
• Current NDT certifications in UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for examination and ensure safety compliance.
• Apply testing criteria and evaluate results.
• Identify and mitigate risk on client engagements and escalate when needed.
• Review asset documentation and NDE data; prepare project reports.
• Perform specialized inspections and supervise others as needed.
