Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our new plant in Clinton, IL. You will perform dimensional inspections and ensure all standards are met while providing training to Level I Inspectors.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, quality control experience, and proficiency in using inspection tools. The position offers competitive benefits including medical insurance, paid vacation, and a salary range of $46,640 to $55,650.

Qualifications

• Experience in the use of inspection tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Quality Control experience preferred.
• CWI and UT certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections to AWS D1.1 requirements.
• Conduct magnetic particle inspection using dry powder yoke method.
• Inspect incoming materials and outgoing products.
• Ensure documentation is accurately completed.
• Comply with safety regulations.
• Participate in training of Level I Inspectors.
