Job summary

Ascent Aviation Services in Marana, AZ is seeking an experienced NDT Administrator to coordinate non-destructive testing and ensure compliance with applicable codes and customer requirements. You will manage documentation, inspections scheduling, and coordination with Level I-III personnel across Marana and Tucson locations.

The role requires knowledge of PT, MT, UT, and ET; you will interact with QA, production, and customers and support audits. Flexibility to work various shifts is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of NDT methods PT MT UT ET; Level II qualification preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate availability of qualified personnel, equipment, and materials for NDT inspections.
• Collaborate with production supervisors, project managers, and stakeholders to plan NDT activities.
• Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials for inspections.
• Monitor resource availability and utilization for timely inspections.
• Maintain records of NDT inspections and calibrations; coordinate with Level III on training and certification.
• Ensure documentation is current and compliant with standards.
• Support audits and corrective actions related to NDT activities.
• Act as primary internal/external liaison for NDT activities.
