Job summary

Voyager Energetics is seeking an NDT Level II X-Ray Technician to join our Quality team in Penrose, CO, with the role transitioning to Pueblo, CO.

In this hands-on role, you'll perform X-ray/radiographic inspections of solid propellant components, interpret radiographic images, and calibrate equipment. You'll document results, support radiation safety, and collaborate with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• 80+ hours of formal radiography education completed.
• 1000+ hours of hands-on radiography experience.
• Digital radiography experience is a plus.
• Aerospace/defense propellant inspection experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray/radiographic inspections of solid propellant components.
• Interpret radiographic images and identify defects.
• Set up, calibrate, and perform quality checks on X-ray equipment.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.

In this hands-on role, you'll help ensure the quality and reliability of critical aerospace and defense components by:

• Performing X-ray/radiographic inspections of solid propellant components
• Interpreting radiographic images and identifying defects
• Setting up, calibrating, and performing quality checks on X-ray equipment
• Documenting inspection results and maintaining quality records
• Supporting radiation safety and working closely with engineering and production teams

What we're looking for:

• 80+ hours of formal radiography education
• 1,000+ hours of hands-on radiography experience
• Digital radiography experience is a plus
• Aerospace, defense, propellant, or rubber inspection experience is a plus

$36-$42/hour, depending on experience and location
