Element Materials Technology is seeking an NDT Level II - Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector for the 2nd shift to perform Liquid Penetrant testing on aerospace products. You will set up, operate and interpret results to support quality assurance and compliance with procedures.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, ability to read procedures and drawings, and completion of DOT background check and medical screening. This is a full-time position on a 1:00pm–9:00pm shift.

Overview

Element has an opportunity for an NDT Level II - Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector (2nd shift) to perform Liquid Penetrant testing using specific techniques on aerospace products. Uses knowledge of products, manufacturing processes, equipment set-up, and NDT methods to process parts for inspection following specific operating procedures. Interprets and evaluates test results.

Monday- Friday

1:00pm-9:00pm

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate, calibrate, and perform process control checks on NDT (Liquid Penetrant Test) equipment by following established instructions and record results.
• Review procedures, specifications, drawings and other instructions for completeness with procedures and technical instructions to evaluate for welding, machining, etc.
• Interpret, evaluate, and report evaluation results as required.

Skills / Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, data and details furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must meet DOT background check and medical requirements including drug screening.
