Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced NDT Level 2 Inspectors for projects located in the Seattle, WA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $35-38/hour based on experience and skill level.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience.
• NDT level 2 certification dye penetrant or magnetic particle to national aerospace standard.
• NAS 410 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities defects using NDT methods of inspection.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Organize and report test results. Speaks and writes clearly and informatively responds well to question.
• Practices active listening exhibits discretion. Communicates technical findings using industry standard.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
• Communicates daily with lead about work priorities and progress of project.
• Work closely with level 3 to identify and remove obstacle.
• Actively participate in safety initiatives, incident investigations etc
