Job summary

System One is seeking a dedicated NDT/NDE field technician to perform industrial inspections using robotic sensor equipment at client sites in Houston. You will operate wall-climbing robots and service equipment between assignments, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.

Ideal candidates have hands-on electrical/mechanical skills and prior field service experience in oil and gas or related industries. You will document work with reports and manage related paperwork on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Relevant oil and gas or similar industrial environment experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical devices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-field inspections at customer sites using robotic sensor equipment.

Position for a NDT Field Technician / NDE Field Technician

We are seeking a field technician ( NDT / NDE ) to perform industrial inspections using robotic and remote-controlled sensor equipment (including wall-climbing robots) and to service that equipment between assignments. In the field, you’ll operate the robots to carry out inspections. Out of the field, you’ll maintain and repair their electromechanical components, including gears, motors, cameras, actuators, control boxes, and cables.

• Operate robotic inspection equipment in industrial environments
• Maintain, repair, and clean robotic equipment between field assignments
• Complete trip reports, expense reports, and related field paperwork

Qualifications :

Relevant experience in oil and gas or similar industrial environments ( NDT technician, NDE technician, field technician, field service technician, field robotics technician, industrial robotics service technician, electro-mechanical technician, robotics operator, field inspection technician, etc )

Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical devices and tools
