Job summary

Olsson is seeking an NDT Technician to support site inspections, field and lab testing, and equipment transport. Travel to project sites will be required, and work may occur in various terrains and weather conditions.

The candidate should have strong communication, teamwork, and safety awareness, with an associate degree in NDT preferred and the ability to obtain related certifications. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must pass 10-hour OSHA Safety Exam.
• Ability to work in construction environments.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Exposure to field testing and laboratory testing processes.

Job Description

As an NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Technician, you will provide assistance to associate and senior technicians with site inspection, field testing, and laboratory testing. You may also transport NDT equipment to and from project sites, travel to job sites at different stages of construction, and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

• Complete and pass 10‑hour OSHA Safety Exam.
• The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving history.
• NDT experience or an associate degree in Non‑Destructive Testing, preferred.
• Some experience in construction, preferred.
• Ability to study for and obtain NDT related certifications.
