Position Overview

TEAM is seeking an entry‑level NDT Assistant to support our certified technicians in the delivery of nondestructive testing services at various client sites and locations. Primary Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.) in accordance with TEAM and client procedures.
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
• Support radiation safety practices and help secure work areas for radiographic testing (where applicable).
• Transport equipment to and from job sites, maintaining safe handling and inventory control.
• Ensure all tools and work areas are cleaned and maintained.
• Complete field reports, timesheets, and other documentation as directed.
• Follow all safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in NDT, construction, or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with basic NDT methods and terminology.
• Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry‑standard safety certifications.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience with tools/equipment.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug/alcohol screening background check.
• Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
• Willingness to travel and work in various environments typically found in Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Power, Municipality, Aerospace, and other settings.
• Willingness and ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules as required.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.
• Strong work ethic with a safety‑first mindset.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver in a standard refinery or plant environment, including access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells, except when performing non‑field duties.
• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities permitting effective communication.
• Sufficient vision or other powers of observation permitting investigation.
• Sufficient manual dexterity permitting routine office duties.
• Ability to maintain focus and multitask with effective communication skills.

Work Conditions

• Position is based out of a TEAM field office or client site location.
• Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
• Interaction with other crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.
• Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
• Able to wear safety equipment for any task and as required by the safety department for personal protection.
• May be at more than one job site in a day and must tolerate climate changes.
• May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
