Job summary

ES3 - Engineering and Software System Solutions, Inc. in Utah is seeking a Level II/III NDI Technician to perform NDI duties on aircraft components, using automated systems and manual methods. You will evaluate scans, calibrate equipment, and ensure compliance with customer specifications.

The role includes preparing reports and training others as needed. Candidates should have NAS 410 Level II+ certification, direct NDI experience on F-16 wings, and proficiency with Mag Particle, Florescent

Qualifications

• NAS 410 Certification Level II or higher required.
• Direct NDI experience and training on F-16 wings.
• Experience with Mag Particle, Fluorescent Penetrant, Eddy Current and Ultrasonic inspections.
• Must read and interpret customer specs and drawings.
• Strong safety and quality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret NDI scans of metal and composite materials.
• Calibrate, standardize, set-up and utilize NDI equipment.
• Conduct inspections to detect discontinuities (indications) using applicable NDI methods.
• Apply inspection criteria per customer specifications and evaluate results.
• Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated.
• Prepare inspection reports with records of rejection and corrective action.
• Route rejected parts to appropriate department for disposition/repair.
• Maintain regular NDT equipment maintenance.
• May provide training to others as required.
• Work with Quality department on all NDI tasks.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by Management.
