Job summary

The Shaw Group, LLC seeks an NDE Technician to perform nondestructive examinations and quality testing across multiple inspection methods, ensuring compliance with procedures and customer specifications. The role requires Level II MT certification and may involve MT, PT, VT, UT, RT, and related testing tasks.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, data recording, and report preparation, with safety and quality as top priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Level II MT certification is required.
• Level II VT certification preferred.
• Additional NDE/NDT certifications are a plus.
• Ability to read and understand inspection procedures, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDE inspections and quality testing according to procedures, codes, and project requirements.
• Conduct MT, PT, VT, UT, RT inspections and related examinations.
• Set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain NDE equipment and instrumentation.
• Document inspection results and prepare reports with accurate records.
