Job summary

NCSL International seeks an NDE Level III Technician to lead VT and MT programs from our North Kingstown, RI facility. You will maintain certifications, qualify procedures, and ensure compliant interpretation of codes and standards across manufacturing and engineering teams.

In this onsite role, you will train personnel, review drawings, support audits, and drive continuous improvement in NDE methods and equipment. A strong technical writing ability and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of NDE experience in relevant industrial settings.
• Current or previous Level III certification in VT and MT (ASNT SNT-TC-1A or equivalent).
• Ability to read engineering drawings, welding documentation, and inspection requirements.
• Experience developing and approving NDE procedures and certification programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Level III for VT and MT and oversee NDE activities.
• Develop, review, and maintain NDE procedures and work instructions.
• Train and certify NDE personnel per certification programs.
• Conduct annual reviews and recertifications.
• Interpret codes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Support new NDE methods, equipment, and processes.
• Perform or witness NDE examinations as needed.
• Participate in audits and nonconformance investigations.
• Maintain NDE records and certifications.
• Provide technical guidance to QA, operations, and engineering.
