Job summary

BWX Technologies Inc. is seeking a Technologist 4 in Euclid, Ohio, to manage and improve the NDE training and qualification program. The role involves providing technical counsel and ensuring compliance with testing specifications across various methods.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in at least four (4) of the following methods: radiography, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, visual inspection and ultrasound.
• Demonstrated proficient knowledge in NAVSEA 250-1500-1, MIL-STD-2132 and ASME Section III through previous work experience is preferred.
• Experience as a Level III or Examiner is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, verify effectiveness and continuously improve the NDE training, qualification and oversight program.
• Provide technical counsel and support sites and their suppliers for reliability and compliance.
• Develop and administer training and testing programs for non‑destructive testing specifications.
