Job summary

Xcel Ndt is seeking an NDE Assistant to join the team in Bossier City, LA. The role involves setting up and using nondestructive testing equipment and assisting certified technicians in calibrations and inspections to ensure quality and detect defects.

You will record inspection results, support NDT procedures, and perform other tasks as assigned, while adhering to site safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Complete and pass a DISA Background check.
• Complete and pass a Urine/Alcohol Drug Screen.
• Complete and pass site specific safety council.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist NDE Technicians in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist NDE Technicians conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDE methods of inspection.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist Technicians in performing NDT procedures and other operations.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
