Xcel Ndt is seeking an NDE Assistant located in Ames, Iowa. The successful candidate will assist NDE Technicians with specific calibrations and Nondestructive Tests and will receive both on-the-job training and classroom development.

This position involves setting up test equipment, conducting evaluations, and recording results, while working in varying conditions. Ideal candidates will complete necessary background checks and safety training.

Qualifications

• Complete and pass a DISA Background check.
• Complete and pass a Urine/Alcohol Drug Screen.
• Complete and pass site specific safety council.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist NDE Technicians in calibration of NDT equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality using NDE methods.
