Job summary

Xcel Ndt Llc is seeking an NDE Assistant to support NDE Technicians in performing calibrations, NDT tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations. The role includes training on the job and classroom development to advance your career as an NDE Technician.

Key responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, assisting with calibrations, recording inspection results, and performing other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Complete and pass a DISA Background check.
• Complete and pass a Urine/Alcohol Drug Screen.
• Complete and pass site specific safety council requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist NDE Technicians in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist NDE Technicians conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDE methods of inspection.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist Technicians in performing NDT procedures and other operations.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.

NDE Assistant Job Description:The NDE Assistant will assist NDE Technicians in performing specific calibrations, specific Nondestructive Tests, and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations.
