Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in delivering nondestructive testing services across multiple client sites and locations.

You will assist with inspection preparation, equipment handling, documentation, and field tasks in accordance with TEAM procedures and client requirements.

Qualifications

  • 0-1 year of experience in NDT or related field.
  • Familiarity with basic NDT methods and terminology.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, safety requirements, and client site protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections using UT, MT, PT, and RT.
  • Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
  • Support radiation safety practices and secure work areas during radiographic testing.
  • Transport equipment to and from job sites and maintain inventory control.
  • Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Complete field reports and other required documentation.
  • Follow safety rules and client site protocols.
  • Perform rigging, lifting, and other general labor duties.
  • Travel to various client sites as required.

Position Summary:-

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in delivering nondestructive testing services at various client sites and locations. The position provides an opportunity to develop a career in asset integrity and inspection while supporting safety, operational excellence, and quality across TEAM's inspection and testing operations.

The NDT Assistant assists with inspection preparation, equipment handling, work-area setup, documentation, and general field activities while following TEAM procedures, client requirements, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:-
  • Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections using methods such as UT, MT, PT, and RT in accordance with TEAM and client procedures.
  • Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
  • Support radiation safety practices and help secure work areas during radiographic testing, where applicable.
  • Transport equipment to and from job sites while maintaining safe handling and inventory control.
  • Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Complete field reports, timesheets, and other required documentation as directed.
  • Follow all safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
  • Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.
  • Perform other duties consistent with the position as assigned.
Qualifications:-
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Approximately 0-1 year of experience in NDT, construction, industrial, or related field environments.
  • Previous experience in NDT, construction, or industrial environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic NDT methods and terminology is preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools and equipment are preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and safety-first mindset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and client personnel.
  • Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, safety requirements, and client site protocols.
Requirements:-
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
  • Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other required site access credentials.
  • Willingness to travel and work in environments associated with Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Power, Municipality, Aerospace, and other industrial settings.
  • Willingness and ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules as required.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to access elevated platforms using ladders and stairwells when required.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in plant environments and around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
  • Ability to tolerate climate changes and work at multiple job sites when required.
  • Ability to wear required safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
  • Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications are preferred.
