Our Child Care Connections Division is recruiting candidates for their open position!

ND QRIS Coach

Responsible for recruiting child care programs to join Bright & Early ND, North Dakota’s Quality Rating & Improvement System (QRIS). Support child care programs on the path to quality through coaching, consultation, and technical assistance. Implement the QRIS Coaching Manual policies and procedures, and document all work and required data. Support program grant spending to reinforce quality practices. Collaborate with QRIS colleagues and State partners.

*LOCATION: Position for home office and serve childcare programs in southeast North Dakota

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a current Early Childhood Workforce Registry member (link: https://www.hhs.nd.gov/sites/www/files/documents/EC/PD/registry-coach-quality.pdf)
    • Current CDA Credential
    • Associates degree or higher with at least eight credits in Early Childhood Education/Child Development
    • § AND ability to attain a minimum of an Associates degree or equivalent credits in Early Childhood Education/Child Development within three years
  • Minimum of two years of experience working directly with children ages birth – eight years
  • Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a current Infant, Toddler, and/or PreK CLASS Reliability Certificate
  • Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  • Lived experience or a history working with individuals with low incomes
