Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of accredited Neurodiagnostic END program preferred; enrollment in a CAAHEP-accredited program acceptable.
  • Minimum 6 months neurodiagnostic experience; 1+ year preferred.
  • END registry eligible required upon hire; BLS certification within 90 days; mandatory reporting training for child/adult abuse.

Responsibilities

  • Perform EEG, NCS/EMG, and sleep study procedures, preparing patients and applying electrodes.
  • Identify normal/abnormal findings, troubleshoot equipment, document activity for physician review.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot neurodiagnostic equipment; provide on-call coverage.
  • Deliver patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations while protecting privacy.
  • Document patient history, test data, and reports in the EHR with HIPAA/OSHA/CLIA/DNV compliance.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in meetings and staff training.

This role involves patient care, education, documentation, and support for clinic operations. Responsibilities
  • Perform EEG, NCS/EMG, and sleep study procedures, preparing patients, applying electrodes, and ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Identify normal and abnormal findings, troubleshoot equipment issues, and document notable activity for physician review.
  • Maintain, clean, calibrate, and troubleshoot neurodiagnostic equipment; provide oncall coverage as scheduled.
  • Deliver compassionate, appropriate care across neonatal through geriatric populations while protecting patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Accurately document patient history, test data, and reports in the EHR while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, TJC, and DNV standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in meetings and education, and assist in training students or new staff.
Qualifications
Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Graduate of accredited Neurodiagnostic/END program is preferred; enrollment in a CAAHEP- accredited program is acceptable
Experience:
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months of neurodiagnostic technology experience or supervised training
  • One (1) or more years of clinical neurodiagnostic experience is preferred
License(s)/Certification(s):
  • Required Upon Hire:
    • Electro Neurodiagnostic Technician Registry eligible
  • Required within 90 Days of Hire
    • Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care
    • Adult Dependent Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care
    • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification American Heart Association (AHA)
