Job summary

Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD) seeks an enthusiastic NCF Field Supervisor for New Century Fieldhouse in Gardner, KS. You will monitor games, supervise staff, and ensure a safe, positive environment for players and spectators.

The role requires evening/weekend availability and a background in athletics or sports administration. Join a Gold Medal team dedicated to community recreation and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years or older.
• Must be flexible and available evenings and/or weekends.
• Experience working directly with the public.
• Experience in an athletic facility or sports office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor games, practices, and tournaments hosted by NCF.
• Provide an upbeat, safe environment for the public.
• Supervise and direct assigned staff members.
• Supervise the conduct of participants, handle patron complaints, enforce rules and resolve problems.
• Inspect recreation equipment for proper working order and safety. Complete equipment repairs and supplies.
• Additional responsibilities; Complete time sheets, accident and/or incident reports and cash drops.
• Perform opening and closing duties of the facility.
• Ensure policies are followed.
• Assist with setup/tear down of activities, events, and programs.
