Central Gulf Industrial Alliance is seeking a Journeyman insulation professional with 8+ years of field experience. The role involves applying, removing, and repairing insulation on equipment, pipes, and tanks, and requires NCCER certification.
You will read blueprints, select materials, and perform work independently on site. Responsibilities include cutting and fitting insulation, installing sheet metal protections, and maintaining safety and documentation.
Journeyman - Typically 8+ years documented field experience in chosen craft discipline with ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan and perform work activities independently.
Apply, remove, and repair insulation on equipment, pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems such as heat exchangers, hot and cold pipes, storage tanks and vessels, to help control noise and maintain temperatures. MUST HAVE NCCER certification.
Requires metalworking for insulation flashing, cutting and handling perlite type insulation, standing seam installation, temporary insulation fabrication and handling, piping, storage tanks, pressure vessels, various thickness of insulation, insulation sealing, draining and inspection.
