Job summary

Braven is seeking an Executive Director to launch and oversee a new North Carolina region in Fayetteville or Raleigh. This is a temporary-to-full-time leadership role reporting to senior Braven leadership and guiding external affairs, fundraising, and regional strategy.

You will work in-person three days a week in NC, build partnerships with universities and employers, and drive a $9M fundraising plan while developing the regional team and advisory board.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required with 7–10 years of leadership experience.
• Experience leading a department or equivalent with an inclusive, sustainable culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the NC region, establishing partnerships with higher education and employers.
• Raise roughly $9M for the first three years of programming before launch.
• Build and lead a regional program team and advisory board; align with central External Affairs.
