Job summary

Union County Community Action, Inc. (UCCA) seeks a passionate NC Pre-K Teacher to lead preschool classrooms in Hamlet, NC. You will plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports school readiness and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
• NC Pre-K qualifications and licensure requirements required.
• Experience working in preschool or Pre-K settings preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening and TB test, and must submit to random drug screenings.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to actively supervise preschool-aged children, move throughout classroom and outdoor learning environments, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
