Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a skilled PCB mechanical drill technician in San Jose, CA. The role involves operating mechanical and laser drilling equipment on printed circuit boards, inspecting own work for quality and accuracy, and ensuring adherence to travelers and blueprints.

An ITAR facility requires US citizenship or permanent residency. Minimum 1–2 years of PCB drilling experience and ability to work overtime/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years PCB mechanical drill experience including controlled depth/back drill.
• Ability to read travelers, customer specs and tolerances on blueprints.
• Familiar with Excellon drilling equipment.
• Must be available for overtime and weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Purpose

The primary function of this position will be performing mechanical drilling on printed circuit boards.

Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an individual with printed circuit board mechanical and laser drill experience. The qualified individual will work with mechanical and laser drill equipment. The primary function of this position will be performing mechanical drilling/laser on printed circuit boards. In addition to that, the employee will be required to inspect own work for quality and accuracy.

Education And Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years printed circuit board mechanical drill experience including controlled depth drill, back drill.
• Must understand process travelers, customer specifications and tolerances specified on travelers or blueprints.
• Familiar with printed circuit board Excellon drilling equipment.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Job requires long periods of standing up to 80%
• Prior Sanmina experience and systems knowledge is preferred.

Salary Range (annual) : $44,724.00 - $47,840.00
