Job summary

Twin Disc, Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Machine Repair Technician for 1st shift to keep NC/CNC machinery, conveyors, and plant systems running safely and efficiently. You will interpret diagrams and manuals, perform preventive maintenance, and implement effective repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical domains.

The role requires hands-on expertise in welding, fabrication, and basic electrical work, with a focus on reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in machine repair or related mechanical trade.
• Journeyman card, certification, or relevant technical education preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NC/CNC controls and pneumatics.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on NC/CNC machines, production equipment, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues.
• Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Complete repairs involving welding, fabrication, plumbing, and other facility tasks.
• Use precision tools to complete repairs and adjustments.
• Identify repair parts using manuals and parts lists.
• Support reliability and equipment uptime improvements.
