Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with negative-ion or ion sources and extracted beams.
• Familiarity with vacuum systems, plasma source operation, beam diagnostics, and conditioning.
• Ability to translate beam-physics requirements into experimental hardware and test plans.

Responsibilities

• Primary experimental responsibility for NBI-based negative-ion source development and test-bed operation.
• Bridge source and ion-optics modeling with operating injector hardware.
• Build dedicated negative-ion commissioning knowledge for future HAMMIR systems.
• Complement with positive-ion NBI operational experience with in-depth expertise in negative-ion-specific hardware.
