Basic Commerce and Industries, Inc. (BCI) seeks full-time, mid-level Systems Engineer / Navy SME to support NSWCDD Dahlgren.

Candidates bring extensive Navy surface warfare experience and strong analytical skills to provide senior engineering and technical guidance. Responsibilities include risk management, test planning, requirements analysis, and collaboration with a cross-functional team of engineers and subject matter experts to deliver mission-critical combat system solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum 10–15 years US Navy surface warfare experience gained on active duty or equivalent
Advanced writing and speaking abilities required
Two years' experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required

Responsibilities

Provide senior level systems engineering and analysis support to multiple NSWCDD customers
Review and recommend combat systems and system-of-systems integration solutions
Conduct risk management and facilitate risk assessment programs
Assist with planning, organizing, and executing test events
Review requirements traceability and perform analysis
Provide technical assessments and evaluations of system problems
Lead and collaborate with a team of subject matter experts to deliver on tasks
