Job summary

Green Expert Technology (GreenXT) is seeking an SQL Developer to support the SUPSHIP Newport News RCOH Team, providing SQL development and database support across legacy and modern platforms. You will maintain, design, and troubleshoot Access and SQL Server databases, ensure data integrity, and work with contracting officers and users to deliver required functionality.

Applicants should hold an active DoD Secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and at least ten years of multi-discipline

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of ten years of relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS SQL Server 12.0+ and Access accdb databases; version control.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook; VBA debugging.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing Access applications and Access databases.
  • Administer SQL Server databases: backups, tuning, security, and user management.
  • Design and optimize SQL-driven applications while ensuring data integrity and cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate with contracting officers and users to implement functionality and define new features.
  • Convert Access SQL to SQL Server syntax and debug VBA code.
