Job summary

Veterans Prime, Inc. is seeking a Field Mechanical Inspector with Navy Nuclear experience to join our client’s Engineering Team. This role focuses on field-based inspections of boilers and pressure vessels at customer sites, with minimal overnight travel.

You will review packages, witness hydrostatic tests, monitor quality control, and sign off on required forms. A successful candidate communicates clearly with clients and works independently to uphold safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Navy Nuclear experience or equivalent field training.
• First term military contract completion is preferred.
• Experience operating, maintaining, or inspecting boilers and pressure vessels.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of boilers and pressure vessels at client sites.
• Monitor and support QA/QC systems and witness hydrostatic tests.
• Review and sign required inspection forms and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers and manufacturers to ensure compliance.
