Job summary

North Wind Group in Bangor, Washington is seeking a Depot Technician I to perform hands-on labor supporting Navy-Marine Mammal Program infrastructure. This regular full-time position requires the ability to lift heavy loads, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain safety standards on offshore and land facilities.

The role involves operating and maintaining water filtration and other site equipment, handling tools, and transporting vessels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of general construction experience.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Background screen required to access work location.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building, installation, and maintenance of on-water facilities for Navy-Marine Mammal Program.
• Assist with the building, installation, and maintenance of land-based facilities in support of the Navy-Marine Mammal Program.
• Maintain and operate water filtration systems.
• Operate and maintain unmanned underwater vehicles.
• Transport vessels to service centers.
• Load/unload materials and manage inventory.
