Job summary

FWG Solutions is seeking a Supply Specialist to support the U.S. Navy LCAC LCAC ACV program on-base, handling research, quotes, purchasing, and material tracking. The role requires coordinating vendors, maintaining visibility, and providing timely status updates on material purchases.

Education includes a High School Degree with an Associate's preferred in logistics or related field. Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals.
• Ability to install, assemble, and configure new mechanical or refrigeration systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and fix issues.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with general maintenance staff.
• Ability to work with various levels of personnel.
• Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Research parts, obtain quotes and purchase approved materials.
• Provide tracking of materials by job.
• Coordinate vendors and maintain material status visibility.
• Procurement of packages and provides status updates of approved ODC/material purchases.
• Perform routine work with limited supervision.
• Take on new assignments with general instructions.
• Apply industry knowledge to programs ensuring successful completion.
• Use knowledge of policies and practical applications to complete tasks.
• Other duties as related to the business functions.
