The role advises technical teams and leadership on Navy Intelligence capabilities, supports development of concepts, documentation, training materials, and analytical products. Travel up to 10% annually is expected.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• 10 years Navy Intelligence operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Navy Intelligence.
• Experience in operational planning, readiness assessments, doctrine development.
• Experience producing technical documents, reports, briefings.
• Knowledge of information warfare disciplines and integration.
• Ability to lead meetings and collaborative planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is currently seeking candidates for a Navy Intelligence (INTEL) Subject Matter Expert II position supporting a Department of Navy customer in Norfolk, Virginia.

This position provides advanced technical expertise in Navy Intelligence mission planning, operational analysis, training support, doctrine development, and readiness assessment. The position will advise technical teams and leadership on Navy Intelligence capabilities, operational integration, and best practices while supporting the development of operational concepts, technical documentation, training materials, and analytical products.

Work Duties

• Providing subject matter expertise in Navy Intelligence operations and related information warfare disciplines
• Supporting development and refinement of operational concepts, doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures
• Performing technical analyses to assess mission effectiveness and operational capabilities
• Preparing technical documentation, briefings, analytical reports, and recommendations
• Participating in technical planning sessions, working groups, and collaborative discussions
• Supporting development and evaluation of training programs and operational readiness initiatives
• Analyzing mission requirements and recommend improvements to processes, capabilities, and technical solutionsCoordinating with multidisciplinary technical teams to integrate Navy Intelligence capabilities into broader operational efforts
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship within assigned areas of expertise

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI
• 10 years of experience supporting Navy Intelligence operations or cryptology within a Fleet or Navy Information Warfare mission area
  • Recent experience actively working in the domain within the last five years
• Bachelor's degree or requisite experience in Navy Intelligence
• Demonstrated experience supporting operational planning, readiness assessments, concept development, doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures
• Experience developing technical documentation, reports, white papers, briefings, or analytical products
• Working knowledge of the integration of Navy Intelligence with other Information Warfare disciplines, including:
  • Electromagnetic Warfare
  • Command & Control
  • Intelligence
  • Space Operations
  • Information Operations
  • Defensive Cyber Operations
• Ability to independently support technical meetings, working groups, and collaborative planning activities
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
