Position: Navigation Analysis Research and Development Engineer in the Navigation Research and Development Division (NRDD) of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State, located in Warminster, PA. NRDD focuses on advanced navigation technologies and tests navigation sensors in a laboratory designed to test highly sensitive navigation sensors. The role supports data analysis, testing for R&D, prototype development, and experimental evaluation of new navigation technologies for military platforms. ARL is a DoD SkillBridge partner welcoming transitioning military members to apply.

Your working location will be fully on-site at the Navigation Research & Development Center (NRDC) in Warminster, PA. This position may require travel to remote locations for field-testing, in a laboratory, or at-sea aboard a surface ship or a submarine.
Minimum Education, Work Experience & Required Certifications
If filled as Research and Development Engineer - Intermediate Professional: Bachelor's Degree - Engineering or Science; 2+ years of relevant experience; Required Certifications: None.
If filled as Research and Development Engineer - Professional: Bachelor's Degree - Engineering or Science; No prior relevant work experience required; Required Certifications: None.

The salary range is $76,700.00 – $129,500.00, with the proposed range potentially affected by geographic differential.
