Job summary

Bear Mountain Services, a division of All Native Group and Ho Chunk, Incorporated, seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) I to perform proofreading, editorial, and compliance checks for Career Training Continuum curriculum revisions, reporting to the QAS II. This role is the first line of defense against curriculum errors, ensuring NAVEDTRA 142 adherence and instructional consistency.

You will verify lesson plans, assessments, and media assets before the higher-level review, document pilot

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Instructional Design, or related field.
• Less than 3 years of relevant experience in evaluating instructional products or technical writing.
• Experience leading SME teams in curriculum development.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Editorial Review: proofreading and formatting checks to ensure NAVEDTRA 142 adherence.
• Compliance Verification: verify Section 508 accessibility for TRANET VDI delivery.
• Comment Tracking: document pilot comments and QA findings for correction.
• Data Integrity: align learning objectives with test items across portfolios.
