Job summary

Blackwatch International Corporation seeks an Engineer (E3) – High Mid to support NAVSEA PMS 470 contract in the DC Metro Area. This non-key personnel role requires an active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.

The engineer will apply engineering theory to develop economical solutions, analyze reliability, and support logistics and combat systems ILS tasks. This position is full-time and on site in the DC region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (required).
• Active SECRET security clearance (required).
• U.S. Citizenship required (required).
• More than 7 years of relevant engineering experience (required).
• Master's degree in engineering (preferred).
• 10 years of relevant engineering experience (preferred).
• 7 years specialized engineering experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Apply theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems.
• Link perceived social needs with commercial applications in engineering projects.
• Design products and machinery; implement improved extraction, processing methods and use of materials.
• Develop new materials that improve product performance and leverage advances in technology.
• Assess environmental and human impact of the developed systems and products.
• Estimate time and cost to complete engineering projects.
