Job summary

A defense services provider is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering and technical services for U.S. Navy Surface Ships. This role involves overseeing maintenance and planning of naval systems and equipment. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least seven years of relevant experience, along with an active DoD security clearance. Responsibilities include technical guidance to teams, inspections, and training development. This position is located in Virginia with potential travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with at least seven years of experience in engineering management.
• Active DoD security clearance is required.
• Five years of supervisory experience in maintenance/design related to surface ships.
• Experience with naval propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
• Two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on naval equipment and systems.
• Oversee inspection and maintenance planning for propulsion systems.
• Manage teams providing fault identification and support.
• Develop training packages for naval personnel.
