Job summary

A leading defense contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee engineering and technical services for U.S. Navy surface ships. The successful candidate will need to manage teams, provide technical guidance, and have a bachelor's degree, along with extensive experience in naval engineering. Active DoD clearance is a must, along with strong leadership skills. This role involves cultivating internal and external relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum seven years relevant experience or Associate Degree with fourteen years.
• Active DoD security clearance required.
• Five years supervisory experience in technical assistance or maintenance.
• Practical surface ship maintenance experience required.
• Experience with auxiliary, electrical systems required.
• Two years supervisory experience in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance for naval equipment systems.
• Manage inspections and maintenance planning for naval machinery.
• Develop and provide training for Ship's Force personnel.
• Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage teams to support contract efforts.
