**Job Posting Title:**Naval Special Warfare Development and Training Associate (RESA IV)**----****Hiring Department:**Applied Research Laboratories**----****Position Open To:**All Applicants**----****Weekly Scheduled Hours:**40**----****FLSA Status:**Exempt from FLSA**----****Earliest Start Date:**Immediately**----****Position Duration:**Expected to Continue**----****Location:**PICKLE RESEARCH CAMPUS**----****Job Details:**## PurposeParticipate in the planning, fielding, development, support and maintenance of sonar systems to include the development, documentation and execution of in-lab and at-sea testing procedures.## Responsibilities* Work as a member of a development team and oversee the planning, execution and support for Naval Special Warfare (NSW) mobility systems and associated high resolution sonar systems. 35%* Testing and troubleshooting of NSW HF SONAR electromechanical assemblies, system software, and system acoustic functions. 25%* Coordinate with company engineers to develop, document and execute in-lab and at-sea testing procedures, update engineering drawings when needed, and help oversee the assembly of deliverables. 40%* Other related functions as assigned.## Required Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in scientific, engineering, or technical field.* Six or more years of experience in the development and or assembly of electronic systems, understanding of hyperbaric vessels, and operations for testing.* Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Applicant must have a dynamic skill set, willing to work with new technologies, be highly organized, capable of planning and coordinating multiple tasks and managing their time. The position will require attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and excellent judgment.
