Job summary

Unofficial M.C. Dean is seeking a Quality Control Tech to perform shipboard inspections and develop QA workbooks in accordance with NAVSEA standards and MIL specifications.

The role requires reading blueprints and technical manuals, certifying data, and ensuring all QA documentation is complete prior to certification. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS may be required; an ISO Lead Auditor Training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and technical manuals to develop Test and Inspection QA Workbooks.
• Experience reviewing NAVSEA Standard Items and MIL-SPECs to verify on-board installations.
• Ability to certify data and ensure QA documentation complies with ISO/government standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipboard/alteration inspections referencing MIL-STD's, NAVSEA standards, and MIL-SPECs.
• Provide detailed reports of all "As Found" conditions in QA workbook.
• Review and certify QA data to ensure product/service quality meets contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with QAM and Project Managers to identify inspection requirements in QA Workbook.
• Maintain safe work environment and ensure accessibility to all areas on U.S. Naval Vessels.
