Job summary

Precise Systems Inc. is seeking a Tactical Networks Fleet Readiness and Sustainment (FRS) Network Automation Engineer to support shipboard networks, implement upgrades, and improve cybersecurity posture.

The role emphasizes automation development (Ansible/Powershell), CANES environments, and collaboration with multiple teams to sustain deployed transport systems. Must have DoD/Navy experience and security clearances where applicable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in network or systems engineering, preferably with DoD or Navy programs.
• Hands-on Cisco ISE/NAC experience with policy enforcement.
• Strong understanding of network security and STIGs.
• Experience creating automation artifacts (Ansible, PowerShell).
• Ability to work in CANES or similar Navy environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide sustainment support for fielded shipboard networks and upgrades.
• Develop automation tooling and scripts for network sustainment.
• Lead configuration management and ECR processes within Agile/DevOps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sustainment activities.
