Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Logistics Analyst to support Navy modernization efforts and the DDG MOD 2.0 program in the Washington, DC area. You will track material, schedules, and inventory, and develop dashboards using MS Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and PowerPoint to guide material management decisions.

The role requires DoD clearance, a related bachelor’s degree with 6+ years’ experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 25% on Navy-related programs.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience
• Experience using databases and metrics to analyze logistics trends and provide recommendations
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Power BI, SharePoint and PowerPoint
• Former Navy Logistics Specialist or Government Schedule (GS) employees encouraged to apply
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Major Program Manager and PAPM for system integration and planning of government and contractor furnished material for smooth DDG MOD 2.0 program execution
• Develop and implement policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure effective ILS execution and tracking reports
• Design innovative solutions for complex ILS problems and draft instructions, plans and material support strategies
• Support planning for required materials and parts distribution and resolve cross‑organizational issues
• Assist the customer with programmatic duties including meetings, presentations, minutes, action items and weekly reporting
• Track Government Furnished Material through procurement, shipping, receipt and delivery to support ship modernization schedules
• Coordinate with Program Offices, Naval activities, shipyards, OEMs, contractors and Fleet on material readiness
• Review engineering documentation (SIDs, BOMs) to identify material requirements and coordinate changes
• Support material planning per JFMM milestones to ensure timely funding and delivery
• Identify and assess logistics risks and develop recommendations to improve readiness and performance
• Perform additional duties as assigned
