Job summary

kSARIA Service Corporation is seeking skilled Fiber Optics Technicians for the East Coast Field Services Division. The role requires 3–5 years of shipboard experience with Combat Systems and HM&E, plus a high school diploma or GED.

Travel and Navy base access are required and a SECRET clearance is preferred. Responsibilities include installation, termination, labeling, testing, and documentation of fiber optic cable assemblies aboard ships, with strict adherence to NAVY standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of practical shipboard experience with Combat Systems and HM&E.
• Ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
• Pass drug test and background check for Navy access.
• Ability to read drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Lift 30 lbs+ and work in shipboard environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, label, and band fiber optic cable assemblies on Navy ships.
• Terminate fiber connectors per Navy standards and item lists.
• Use optical test equipment to test installed cable assemblies.
• Document test and inspection records for all assemblies.
• Travel as needed to customer sites.
