Job summary

SAIC in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to maintain Authority to Operate and coordinate access for multiple Navy education systems. You will support DoD workflows, risk management, and CMRS reporting to ensure compliant security postures within DevSecOps lifecycles.

Preferred candidates hold ABET-accredited CS/IT/Cybersecurity degrees and recognized security certifications, with strong incident response and documentation skills for complex government environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity from ABET-accredited or equivalent.
• Security certifications such as Security+, CCSP, CISSP-ISSEP, GSEC, or GFITSP-D are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain system Authority to Operate (ATO) and support compliance activities.
• Coordinate access across systems and subsystems with customers and vendors.
• Support DevSecOps with secure tooling, migration, and incident response.
• Prepare technical security reports for audits, scorecards, and risk reviews.
