The role includes negotiating modifications and assisting with contract administration through delivery and closure. The position requires DoD contracting experience, security clearance, and the ability to work nights or weekends as mission needs

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting contract laws, regulations and procedures.
• Ability to analyze cost/technical/risk tradeoffs.
• Experience with negotiation techniques and documented buys.

• Review requests for procurement of complex equipment or services.
• Prepare solicitation documents and incorporate required provisions.
• Negotiate contract modifications and assist contract administration.
• Close out contracts, respond to industry inquiries, and represent the command.
