Tessera is seeking a reliable Storekeeper to support technical supply and warehouse operations at Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor. This role handles inventory control, cataloging, property utilization and storage management for general and hazardous materials, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and timely processing of receipts and issues.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma/GED is required.
• 0-3 years of Warehouse Experience.
• Solid working knowledge of supply systems, manuals, and procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical supply tasks within standardized operations.
• Receives, stores, issues, orders, records, and checks store items and hazardous materials.
• Utilizes supply systems and established methods to resolve supply cases.
• Applies guidelines to program requirements and variations.
• Collects and analyzes data to resolve supply-related issues.
• Recommends actions based on policy interpretation.
• Receipts for material arriving via carriers, unloads and processes related documentation.
• Expedites the flow of supply of parts, tools, and material between departments.
• Checks for damage and coordinates resolution of discrepancies and claims.
• Researches and identifies compatible/incompatible chemicals and provides MSDS information.
• Performs consolidation, repackaging, labeling, and transporting of material.
• Work includes driving forklifts, high lifts, and vehicles of medium weight.
