Job summary

TRDI is seeking a full-time Grounds Maintenance Worker for our Corpus Christi Naval Air Station site. You will maintain grounds, operate mowing and edging equipment, and support outdoor facilities in a secure environment.

Requirements include a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. The role offers steady hours, paid time off, and uniforms; compensation is $18.28 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with groundskeeping and landscaping equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Ability to perform outdoor labor in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds of industrial, commercial or public property.
• Repair structures and equipment; operate mowers, trim hedges, edges around curbs and walkways.
• Fertilize or herbicide lawn, shrubs, and trees using spreader or sprayers.
• Plant grass, flowers, and shrubs; water during dry periods; dispose of litter.
• Repair and paint fences, gates, benches, tables, guardrails, and outbuildings.
• Assist in repair of roads, walks, buildings, and mechanical equipment; clean facilities.
• May perform other duties as directed by Project Manager.
