Job summary

Centuri is seeking an experienced Gas Utility Pipe Fuser/Fitter to install, troubleshoot, and maintain underground gas utility systems. You will report to a foreman and contribute to safe, efficient project delivery on outdoor sites.

Responsibilities include fusion/jointing piping, QA tests, loading equipment, and keeping worksites organized, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and compliance with operator qualifications and DOT requirements.

• 1+ years prior experience pipe fitting/fusing in gas utility industry.

As an experienced Gas Utility Pipe Fuser/Fitter, you will report to an skilled Foreman, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining underground gas utility systems while ensuring safety, efficiency, and top-quality results. We value teamwork, and as part of the crew you will be expected to assist with general labor as needed to support project success.

Work Environment

• Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
• All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
• Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
• Work is performed within the "red zone" of heavy equipment
• Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
