Job summary

ACT-SACT in Norfolk, VA seeks an Exercise Coordination and Alignment Branch (ECAB) Support Analyst to integrate warfare development priorities and support multi-domain operations through NATO’s exercise enterprise.

The role requires 5+ years in military exercise planning or related transformation initiatives, strong drafting skills, and the ability to coordinate with multinational partners. Travel up to 30 days per year is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Education and experience (Mandatory)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree OR equivalent professional experience (Mandatory)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in military exercise planning, collective training, or defence transformation (Mandatory)
• Technical competence (Mandatory)
• Familiarity with NATO exercise planning processes and documents (Mandatory)
• Proven ability to draft professional-level planning documents, reports, and campaign plans; MS Office Suite and collaboration tools (Mandatory)
• Strong organizational and project management skills (Mandatory)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (Mandatory)
• Experience coordinating with multinational or interagency partners (Mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Integrate Warfare Development and Transformation Priorities
• Assist ECAB with integration of Warfare Development priorities and MDO objectives into NATO's exercise enterprise
• Provide governance, synchronization, and strategic alignment across NATO's exercise enterprise
• Participate in planning conferences, workshops, and coordination events
• Support development, refinement, and documentation of exercise-related campaign plans and supporting products
• Contribute to rolling programmes of work for WDiE and related initiatives
• Coordinate with NATO entities and external partners as required
• Track and report on branch contributions to NATO-level guidance
• Provide progress updates to the Project Lead and COTR
• Represent ECAB at meetings and conferences with travel up to 30 days/year
