Incumbent will support the Bureau of Indian Education’s mission, which is to provide high quality education opportunities from early childhood through life while considering a tribe’s need for cultural and economic well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain State Certification as Native Language & Culture for Navajo Culture & Language.
• Native American Language and Culture Certificate (Pre K-12) – New Mexico Public Education Department (state.nm.us)
• Professional Licenses required: State Certification as Native Language & Culture for Navajo Culture & Language.
• Physical requirement: must be physically active during classroom duties, arranging the classroom, handling equipment, materials and supplies.
