Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a routine maintenance worker to stripe parking lots at locations nationwide. You will apply paint or lacquer with striping equipment, ensuring ADA compliance and quality finishes.

You will also inspect and touch up surfaces, maintain tools, and prepare coatings per specifications. The role requires DOT background screening, medical clearance, and a valid DOT medical card; a current DOT medical card is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass a pre-employment DOT background check, medical exam, and drug screen to obtain a DOT Certified medical card.
• Current DOT medical card preferred.
• Must pass a DOT driving test and have a clear Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Minimum three years’ striping or parking lot maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply paint or lacquer using striping equipment to parking lots, side roads, and bollards.
• Stripe parking lots in accordance with ADA rules and regulations.
• Examine finished surfaces and verify conformance to specifications; retouch any defective areas.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Clean surfaces of work pieces in preparation for coating, using cleaning fluids, solvents, brushes, scrapers, steam, sandpaper, or cloth.
• Select and mix ingredients to prepare coating substances according to specifications.
• Conceal blemishes, nicks, and dents in work pieces using fillers.
• Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
• Ensure all activities follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure completion of annual striping projects at all company locations within a calendar year.
• Responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations
• Complete other duties as assigned
